Silver Nitrate

It is a topical medicament used to treat and prevent dental caries (cavities) and relieve dentinal hypersensitivity. Silver Nitrate can be used to stop the progression of cavities and is easy to apply. It has been named the dental wonder drug as it can stop cavities without drilling. Silver Nitrate is not always the final answer to cavities but it can stop the cavity while waiting for kids to mature and cooperate with dental treatment.
